FIGHT AGAINST SEX TRAFFICKING – REPORT MODERN DAY SLAVERY
Human trafficking has always been an issue in the sex work industry, it is up to all of us to fight against the injustice. From coercion, withholding passports to outright slavery – trafficking women for sex work still happens even today.
Great strides have been made in recent years to put a stop to sexual exploitation, but it is still prevalent issue in the industry. It is recommended to stay vigilant and keep an eye out for escorts who work under duress; the best way to combat traffickers is to expose them.
OUR STANCE AT DISCREET ELITE
Discreet Elite and all of the members of staff and models we work with stand against exploitation & trafficking in any shape or form. We urge anyone with knowledge of a business undertaking this practice to come forward and speak out about it. Anyone with good moral standing would do the same.
SLAVERY IN TODAY’S ESCORT INDUSTRY
Due to the unregulated nature of the escort industry, there are a lot of criminals attempting to exploit workers in any way they can. Whether it’s withholding fair pay or trafficking girls over from foreign countries – these unethical practices still exist.
Fortunately these disgusting agencies are shutting down en masse, because there isn’t a market for it. Vote with your wallet, and boycott any service that is mistreating their staff.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SUSPECT TRAFFICKING
The first thing to do is walk away and do not use their services. If you suspect a business, website or escort is involved in trafficking sadly the best thing you can do is report it to your local police authority.
Call their non-emergency line (In the UK this is 101), and give them all the information you have. You can choose to do this anonymously, we recommend this to protect yourself.
If you really want to do your part, you can contact the support organisations below directly and they will help you raise awareness.
There may be a local newspaper our journalistic outlet that would be interested in publishing an article about it.
